Got a video that just won't seem to play? Maybe you don't have the right codec (Compressor-Decompressor). Instead of searching Google and hoping to find the right one, check out the KL Codec Resource Site.
There are four packages available (basic, standard, full and mega). To see what codecs are included in the basic, standard and full packages, click here. The list of codecs in the mega package can be found here.
The standard package has the codecs that play the most common video files. It's the package aimed at average users. The full and mega packages include codecs used for encoding so it is geared more toward advanced users.
Download either the basic (1.35 MB), standard (6.91 MB) or full package (14.4 MB) here. The mega package (29.5 MB) can be downloaded here.
The codec packages are only for Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/2003. Check the site often because the packages are updated pretty quickly after a codec has been upgraded.
